The Syracuse vs. Villanova game on Saturday, February 27, has officially sold out with 34,616 tickets sold. It will represent the largest on-campus crowd for a college basketball game in NCAA history, breaking the record set on March 5, 2006 for the Syracuse-Villanova game (33,633).

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – #3/4 Syracuse (22-1, 9-1) is off to its best season start ever after defeating Providence (12-10, 4-6), 85-68, on Tuesday night at the Carrier Dome. The victory marks the first time in program history the Orange has won 22 of its first 23 games.

SYRACUSE, NY – The ‘Hoops for the Stars’ program will be highlighted with an on-court presentation to honor more than 150 Syracuse area youth on Tuesday, February 2 at the Syracuse University men’s basketball game against Providence at the Carrier Dome. For the second year in a row, SU and the National Grid Foundation partnered to implement the program to provide positive reinforcement, recognition of improved academic performance and attendance in school, a decrease in negative behavior, and positive contributions to the community. The program underscores a shared commitment by Syracuse University Athletics and the National Grid Foundation to create opportunities for solutions to educational issues within the Syracuse City School District.
